The established sales and letting agent, which has a showroom in Whitchurch as well as Radyr, is helping the club for the second year, providing financial support to fund the running and upkeep of the club and ground.

Whitchurch Heath has four senior league sides and a popular youth section that runs teams from age nine up to 15. The club is dedicated to playing competitive cricket in a welcoming, inclusive and social atmosphere in the north Cardiff suburb.

Peter Bryon, Whitchurch Heath Chair, said: “We’re very grateful to Thomas H Wood for their continued support into the new season. We are investing in our clubhouse and our training facilities and are developing opportunities for all in the local community. We could not do that without the support we get from local businesses such as Thomas H Wood.”

Paul Wood, Thomas H Wood Director, said: “There was no question that we would continue our partnership with Whitchurch Heath Cricket Club into the next season. The club is just down the road from our Whitchurch branch and it’s so rewarding to see first-hand the benefits that the players, coaches and wider cricket community experience from being a part of the club. We feel privileged to be involved with Whitchurch Heath and can’t wait to see the team in action on the Hospital ground this summer.”

Whitchurch Heath Cricket Club is always interested in connecting with businesses that share its values and can help it deliver on its five-year plan for the future of the club.
