Caring in Bristol is a local charity aiming to solve homelessness, by finding gaps in local provisions and working in creative ways to fill them. Donations support their work to help individuals and communities take steps to prevent homelessness before it happens, with a range of services to move people away from a housing crisis.

Veezu, the UK’s largest and fastest growing private hire platform, has partnered with Wiper & True Brewery, who will donate 100% of profits from a keg of Take Flight beer at their venues in St Werburghs and Old Market to the charity. £2 per Veezu ride to and from the venues will also be donated.

Through this scheme, which has been running since August, Veezu has previously partnered with COR and Bertha’s Pizza.

They have also agreed to sponsor a room at Caring in Bristol’s new youth shelter for two years.

Ian Byworth at Caring in Bristol, said: “We’re so grateful for Veezu’s support this year, and thank all the local businesses who have partnered with them including Wiper & True Brewery.

“By taking rides with Veezu to Wiper & True Brewery (and drinking a pint of Take Flight!) this festive season, the community will be supporting two local businesses and a local charity, plus all the people at risk that we help across the city.”

Jack Price, Regional Director at Veezu south west, said: “We’re very proud to be able to support Caring in Bristol again throughout December, and to have become a corporate partner by sponsoring a room at their youth shelter. The work they do in our city is very important, especially at this time of year, so we’re pleased to be able to fund their vital work this Christmas.”
